Terms, safety & privacy.
Live transport is closed. These terms do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived or guarantee accident immunity.
Service status and eligibility
QUICK is pre-launch. Test rides, driver locations and demo payments are fictional. Live motorcycle passenger transport will open only after Lebanese authority approval, appropriate insurance, verified operators and operational readiness. Users must be at least 18. A QUICK badge is a platform review status, not a transport permit.
Accounts and truthful information
Use your own account and current identity, contact and vehicle information. Do not share access, impersonate another person, forge documents, lend a verified account, substitute an unapproved motorcycle or conceal an expiry, suspension or material change. QUICK may request re-verification and suspend access with an explanation and review route.
Before every pickup
Check the driver’s face, name, motorcycle and plate. Share the pickup PIN only when meeting the assigned driver. Do not board a mismatched vehicle. Both people must wear properly fitted helmets; the motorcycle needs an original passenger seat and footrests. Do not travel with unsafe equipment, excessive luggage, more passengers than authorized or a driver who appears impaired.
Fare and payment
The standard pilot estimate is $1.50 pickup plus $0.60 per estimated kilometre, $4 minimum. Comfort is 20% higher, $5 minimum. The current preview estimates distance from direct distance × 1.35; it is not a road-route measurement. The confirmed total and any permitted changes must be shown before payment. Card or supported digital payment is requested after driver acceptance, before pickup. Cash is due after completion. Never send card details or a pickup PIN in chat. Tips are optional and excluded from commission.
Declines, cancellations and refunds
A driver may decline an offer; it then goes to the next eligible driver. No driver is guaranteed. An unpaid payment window can expire and release the driver. The pilot has no cancellation fees. If QUICK cancels a prepaid ride before service, the full fare must be refunded to the original payment method. A cancellation screen or uploaded screenshot is not proof of a completed refund. Partial service, no-shows, disputes and failed refunds need a documented support review; statutory rights remain.
Safety, accidents and insurance
Motorcycle travel carries risks including collision, injury, weather and road hazards. Riders and drivers must follow traffic law and stop when unsafe. Notify the appropriate emergency services first in an emergency, then report the incident to QUICK and the insurer. Preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with the claim process. QUICK does not promise that screening prevents every incident or that a policy covers every claim. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any non-excludable responsibility of QUICK.
Conduct and support
No harassment, discrimination, violence, weapons, illegal goods, intoxicated driving, fraud, off-platform fare solicitation or retaliation for a safety report. Users may report a trip, challenge a suspension or dispute a charge. QUICK must provide a working support contact, incident response and complaints procedure before accepting live bookings. QUICK is not an emergency response service and has not promised 24-hour monitored support.
Platform and operator responsibilities
Drivers and company operators are responsible for safe lawful driving, vehicle condition, truthful availability and the obligations that apply to their work. QUICK remains responsible for its own legal duties and representations. Calling an operator independent does not determine employment status or transfer statutory duties; the actual relationship and Lebanese law govern. Any valid allocation of liability, indemnities, insurance obligations and dispute forum needs Lebanese legal review before launch.
Data, location and documents
Authentication uses Supabase and the selected identity provider. QUICK stores account details, applications and acceptance records with restricted access. Live driver location is necessary while on shift and during an active trip; the assigned rider should receive it only for that trip, not a permanent tracking link. Optional device permission is requested separately. Face photos identify the assigned driver; QUICK is not enabling face recognition. Only authorized reviewers may open private verification papers. Do not submit another person’s documents without authority.
Document screening and privacy limits
fileAI screening is configured but real-document transmission is disabled. It cannot guarantee authenticity and does not replace issuer checks or legal review. Before activation, QUICK must disclose the actual legal operator, contact, US processing region and international transfers, provider/subprocessor terms, lawful basis, retention periods, deletion and access procedures, and any Lebanese filings or permissions. Do not treat this pre-launch notice as a finalized privacy policy or permission to enable real screening.
Changes, records and applicable law
QUICK records the version, account, role and server time of acceptance. A material change requires renewed acceptance. Users can read the current version again from their account. These drafts contemplate Lebanon-only service; a Lebanese lawyer must finalize the governing-law, forum, enforceability, complaints, language and consumer-rights clauses. Statutory rights override inconsistent terms.
Additional operator agreement
Verification and continuing eligibility
Company approval never approves every worker automatically. Each driver and assigned motorcycle need individual identity, suitable license, registration, plate, insurance, safety and paid-passenger authority review. Expiry, rejection, suspension, revoked authority or changed motorcycle blocks new offers. No account can approve itself. Report accidents, license restrictions, policy changes and changes of ownership promptly.
Clock-in, offers and completion
Clock in only when personally ready to work with the approved motorcycle and location permission. Only on-shift eligible drivers receive offers. Never use the phone while moving; pull over safely to respond. Accept only a trip you can perform, confirm paid status for digital fares, check the rider’s PIN at pickup and complete only after arrival. Do not mark cash as collected until it is received.
Company workers and individual consent
A company owner provides the worker’s name, face photo, motorcycle details, plate photo, license and registration evidence. An invitation must be claimed through the worker’s own authenticated account. The worker confirms the relationship, assigned motorcycle, privacy notice and driver agreement. Owner-provided documents do not replace worker consent or QUICK approval. The owner must follow applicable labor, social-security, tax, work-authorization and insurance duties; requirements must be confirmed for the actual relationship.
Commission and settlements
QUICK earns 10% of each completed fare, rounded in integer USD cents; the operator share is 90% before operating costs, taxes and applicable payment costs. Only cash creates cash-commission debt. Prior-month unpaid debt blocks new dispatch in Beirut time. Transfer cash commission through the approved settlement process; the current proposed Whish destination is +961 3 054 676. A screenshot remains pending until independently confirmed. Cash-in-person instructions are not yet available.
